When you create a ReconWise account, we collect:

2.2 Google Business Profile data

When you connect your Google Business Profile via OAuth, we access and store:

• Business account and location identifiers
• Business name, address, and category information
• Customer review content, ratings, and metadata
• Reviewer names and profile information as provided by Google

We only request the minimum permissions necessary to provide the service. We do not access any Google data beyond what is required to sync reviews and publish approved replies.

2.3 OAuth tokens

To maintain your Google Business Profile connection, we store OAuth access and refresh tokens securely. These tokens allow us to fetch reviews and publish replies on your behalf without requiring you to re-authenticate each time. Tokens are encrypted at rest and are never shared with third parties.

2.4 Review reply data

We store:

• AI-generated reply suggestions created for your reviews
• Approved and published replies
• Review status and workflow history

2.5 Usage data

We automatically collect technical information when you use the platform, including:

• IP address and browser type
• Pages visited and features used
• Date and time of access
• Error logs and performance data

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the ReconWise platform
• Sync customer reviews from your connected Google Business locations
• Generate AI reply suggestions based on review content
• Publish approved replies to Google Business Profile on your behalf

We do not sell your data. We do not use your business or customer data for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your data seriously. Our measures include:

• Access controls limiting who within our team can access user data
• Regular security reviews of our infrastructure

Data is stored on secure servers. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

5. Google OAuth and Third-Party Access

ReconWise connects to Google services using Google OAuth 2.0. This means:

• You authenticate directly with Google — your Google password is never shared with or visible to ReconWise
• You grant ReconWise permission to access specific Google Business Profile data on your behalf
• You can revoke this access at any time via your Google Account settings or within the ReconWise platform
• Revoking access will disconnect your locations and stop review syncing

Our use of data received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use trusted third-party providers to operate infrastructure (hosting, email, analytics). These providers process data only on our instructions.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified beforehand.
